Short bio
During 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry I held various management and leadership roles in the R&D organizations of Schering AG & Bayer Health Care including global Vice President & Head of Project Management for Oncology & Specialized Therapeutics. My interest in management and leadership skills development was stimulated by courses at Cranfield, Ashridge & Sheppard Moscow. I was a member of the Board of Management of a global billion dollar business unit with substantial experience of leading and developing multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary project teams, world-wide change management projects, strategic planning initiatives and portfolio management.
After helping with post M&A integration, I changed career track following a long standing interest in neuroscience, psychology and development. I studied Gestalt Therapy Theory at the London Gestalt Centre and Executive Coaching & Organizational Development at The Grove, London. With years of experience with mindfulness practices I am deepening my understanding of these by pursuing mindfulness based psychotherapy training with the Karuna Institute in Devon. I established Kadak Consulting to enhance mind-management capability within corporate communities.
Born in Pakistan, raised in UK, I lived in Berlin for 7 years and New York for 3 years promoting an awareness of the advantages of diversity, and now live in the East Sussex countryside.
