Short bio
Josie Lipsith is a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist with over 30 years experience in Relate, the NHS and private practice. She is a registered member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (CORST) and an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP). She gained a PG Dip and MSc in Psychosexual Therapy, and a PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College, London.
In parallel to her work as a psychotherapist she taught for many tears in Leeds, London and Dorset, latterly specialising in children with learning difficulties.

Dr. Lipsith maintains an interest in research and recently published her book: “Psychogenic Erectile Dysfunction: Cognitions, Emotions and Sexual Behaviour”. Currently she is Therapist Supervisor at the Jane Wadsworth Clinic, St Mary’s Hospital, London, where she worked as a psychosexual therapist for many years.
She is also a member of the teaching faculty for the London Diploma of Counselling and Psychosexual Therapy, Regents College, London, and has a private practice in Poole.

She is a member of Bournemouth Hebrew Congregation Executive Committee, and founder member of Bournemouth Jewish Social Services, a cross-community service operating throughout Dorset.
